Just Like Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson Also Did Her Own Stunts In Mission: Impossible 5

     By now we all know that Tom Cruise loves to do his own stunts. In every movie he is in, you usually see him most of the time doing stunts such as rock-climbing or scaling the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, which was a major filming location of the 4th Mission Impossible. Most recently it has been a selling point of the Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation film that Tom Cruise actually hanged on the side of a plane as it took off, as seen in the featurette that we shared a weeks ago. In the same trailer, we also saw Tom Cruise with newcomer Rebecca Ferguson rappelling from the top of the Vienna Opera House.     

  

            Just like Mr. Cruise, Ferguson chose to do her own stunts for the film such as jumping off the Opera House on the very first day of shooting. "I wrapped my legs around Tom Cruise and swore every bad word in the dictionary," the Swedish actress said. "He smiled and said, 'Are you ready?' I said, 'Go for it.' "

            Ferguson apparently practiced regularly on a harness for six weeks before the jump, working gradually up the height of the Opera roof. Considering she has vertigo, she did quite well once they started shooting in Vienna. "We must have done it 10 to 15 times, and I wanted to do more and more," Ferguson says about the 120-foot free fall.

            Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation features the first time Ferguson has done these sort of stunts, which is far from her previous films. In 2014 she was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role as Elizabeth Woodville in the BBC series "The White Queen".

            She first got news of the role while on the filming location in Ouarzazate, Morocco shooting a miniseries titled "The Red Tent." "I was on a camel called Barbie when they called and said, 'Tom wants to meet you in London in 17 hours,' " Ferguson said.

            Ferguson then flew to London to meet Tom Cruise for the first time. "I walked in the room, and there he was -- in black jeans, a black T-shirt and a golden smile," she says. The meeting was "mostly a chemistry test to see how we got along."

            The test was a success, and the rest is history. "All these characters have something, and for me to come in and deliver something to the established cast -- it's quite intimidating, and lovely as well. You just have to go with the flow, ride the wave...,"

            Fergusonplays Ilsa Faust, a mysterious assassin who helps Ethan Hunt in bringing down the rogue nation simply called The Syndicate. She also has a signature attack called the "killer thigh move" that features a graceful but deadly technique to help bring down bigger and heavier foes.

            Catch Ferguson along with Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and Alec Baldwin in the fifth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise - Rogue Nation, that is currently out in cinemas worldwide.

            

The Flash Season 2 Casts Keiyan Lonsdale As Wally West

The Flash has become a huge success for CW, and its second season is shaping up to be even bigger than ever. With a new villain that's said to be faster than even the Reverse Flash, Arrow's season 4, and of course the series premiere of their new spinoff Legends of Tomorrow, it looks like CW has big plans ahead for their comic book shows.

Variety reports that CW's The Flash has cast Australian actor Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West for the show's second season. Although it's still unknown if he will be suiting up as the iconic Kid Flash, he is apparently going to be a big part of the series since he is set to appear as a series regular for season 2. The CW's DC Universe has been big on crossovers, with Flash and Arrow set to have an annual crossover and the Legends of Tomorrow premiering not long after, but whether he will appear in the other shows is yet to be announced. But considering they all have the same filming location, it's not a hard to imagine that he could possibly make an appearance to the other series easily.

In the comics, Wally is the nephew of Iris West (played by Candice Patton). After getting hit by lightning just as The Flash did, Wally initially served as Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) sidekick, taking the name Kid Flash. He eventually became a member of Teen Titans and later on took on the mantle of Barry's The Flash.

From what we've seen in the first season, since Iris doesn't have a sibling in the show, it looks like Wally's origin will be slightly changed for his live-action appearance. The Flash will be exploring the world of alternate universes, so there's a possibility that it might play a role in Wally West's introduction in the series.

Wally's appearance in season two was recently announced at Comic-Con, together with another speedster Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears), the original Flash, and Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten), Detective Joe West's (Jesse Martin) newest partner.

When asked about Lonsdale's casting as Wally West, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said that, "Just like when we met Grant for the first time, we instantly knew Keiynan embodied all the heart and courage of a hero. We are so excited to be bringing this much-beloved character onto the show.”

Lonsdale - who plays Uriah in Insurgent - will also return for the upcoming two part finale of the Divergent series, Allegiant. It looks like shooting for the film is yet to start, so there won't be a problem with scheduling conflicts or traveling to different filming locations every time. Being new to the cast of The Flash, his character will add another dynamic in the world of The Flash that is yet to be seen. It's also something to await when he suits up together with speedsters Jay Garrick and Barry Allen to stop the meta-humans running rampant in Central City.

Sherlock 3 Script Currently In Development

There hasn't been any shortage of Sherlock Holmes in the small screen, with Elementary doing quite well and the BBC series Sherlock coming with a series special coming, things are looking pretty good for the world's greatest detective. That being said, fans have missed another version of Sherlock, one played by Robert Downey Jr. in Guy Ritchie's 2011 film. Not to worry though, because it seems like a third movie is on the works.

            Speaking to IGN, Lionel Wigram - the producer of the two Sherlock Holmes films, talked about their plans for the franchise's future:

"We’re working on a Sherlock Holmes 3 script. I think we would all love to do one if we could come up with something that really was really going to knock it out of the park and was going to be the best of the three. So we’re working on that – it’s quite hard to do."

            Wigram also states that both Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law are "very very" interested in returning to their roles as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson respectively. It should be noted that working on a script doesn't mean it's getting a filming location soon, but fans should be glad to know that the studio still has plans for a third Sherlock movie. Wigram and his team would definitely want to get the script correctly to get the best Sherlock story of the series. Plus the fact that the stars have been quite busy currently, with RDJ's role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Ritchie currently promoting his Man From U.N.C.L.E. movie and soon to be on the filming location of the King Arthur remake that he is directing. It's hard to know if Ritchie does plan on returning in the director's chair for this movie.

            With plenty of stories yet to be told about everyone's favorite detective, it's good to know that the writers are taking their time working on the best script for the third and what might possibly be the last in the series of Sherlock films (played by RDJ). For now, fans would have to be content with watching Robert Downey Jr.'s role as Tony Stark in the Marvel movies and Guy Ritchie's take on the 1960's spy TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. 5 More Movie Moments That Happened By Accident

There's a lot of beloved movies that had iconic scenes which has stuck more to the audience than the whole film itself. It might be a moment that described the feel of the movie or an unexpected event that happened on the filming location which the producers just decided to put in the final take. Previously we had a list of 5 movie moment that happened by accident. As it turns out there's a lot of movies that had these sort of things happen too, so here's a list of five more movie moments that happened accidentally.

A Clockwork Orange 
A Clockwork Orange is one of Stanley Kubrick's most famous films. It tells the story of a young delinquent named Alex (played by Malcolm McDowell) whose hobbies include classical music  and 'ultra-violence'. Together with his gang of thugs, they roam around Britain committing horrific crimes. He was eventually captured and rehabilitated via controversial psychological conditioning.

One memorable moment from the film was during the home invasion of Alex and his gang to the house of a writer. They then beat him and rape his wife. Director Stanley Kubrick was having a hard time shooting this scene, as it is quite heavy to take in. He asks Malcolm McDowell to improvise a song and dance to it. McDowell then sang 'Singin' In The Rain', the only song he could think of at that time. Kubrick liked this and went on to finish shooting the film, grabbing the rights to use the song in the film for $10,000.

Annie Hall 
Annie Hall is a romantic comedy by director Woody Allen that details the struggles of comedian Alvy Singer (played by Woody Allen) with nightclub singer Annie Hall (Diane Keaton). Speaking directly to the audience, he tells the story of how they met and the obstacles he faced along the way. After its release, the film went on to receive three Oscars and widespread critical acclaim, making it a classic romantic comedy from the 1970s.

Alvy Singer was offered to 'try something new', and  is passed a tray of cocaine. Allen then had an allergic reaction to the white powder, causing him to sneeze loudly and blow the coke into the air. This wasn't part of the script, but it made the audience laugh so much during the test screenings that they decided to keep it in the film.

Fight Club
Fight club didn't earn a lot at the box office during the film's release, but it earned cult film status during the later years. It is now considered as one of the most controversial and talked about films of 1999.

One notable scene is when Brad Pitt is teaching Edward Norton how to fight in a parking lot. Norton was supposed to punch Pitt on the shoulder, as they have rehearsed. But director David Fincher provoked Norton into doing something else. Norton follows and what happens is he hits Pitt right on the ear, causing him to shout "You hit me in the ear!".

Raiders of the Lost Ark
Raiders of the Lost Ark is the first film in series of adventures by renowned archaeologist Dr. Indiana Jones, portrayed by Harrison Ford. The government hires him to find the Ark of the Covenant, believed to still hold the ten commandments. Unfortunately, Hitler is also after the ark. Indy must escape from various traps and close scrapes, taking him from Nepal to Cairo.

During one encounter with a swordsman, Indiana Jones was supposed to have an elaborate fight scene. But at that time, the filming location was so hot and Indy was suffering from dysentery, making him too sick to perform the stunt. He suggested to shoot the sucker instead to save  time and move on, leading to the most badass moment in Indiana Jones' history.

The Usual Suspects
"The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist," says con man Kint (Kevin Spacey), drawing a comparison to the most enigmatic criminal of all time, Keyser Soze.

Five criminals were brought up to a police lineup and is supposed to deliver the line "Hand me the keys you f***ing c***sucker". A day of filming went by and they still haven't achieved a single take without the actors bursting to laughter. According to the DVD extras, someone who farted on the set was to blame. Whoever it is, what resulted was a fun moment in the film.
